ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of whole grain job's tear, a type of grain from Taiwan, on muscle health, blood sugar levels, and fat levels in older adults who may be experiencing weakness or slower walking. The trial lasts for 16 weeks and involves participants aged 60 to 95 years who have noticed a decline in their physical abilities, such as feeling tired or having fallen in the past year. Participants will be randomly assigned to consume either red job's tear or white job's tear, and their health will be monitored through tests and assessments.

To join the study, individuals should be between 60 and 95 years old and willing to stick to the program. They should not have any serious conditions affecting their limbs or nervous system, nor should they be on hormone treatments during the trial. Participants can expect to learn more about their muscle health and may contribute to valuable research that could help others in similar situations. It’s a great opportunity to improve well-being while participating in a supportive study environment.
