ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the challenges and supports that police officers face when dealing with mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Police work can be very stressful and may lead to these mental health problems, but many officers do not seek the help they need. The study aims to find out what prevents them from getting treatment and what might encourage them to seek help.
To participate in this study, candidates must be active police officers or support staff in France who have been in their role for over a year. Participants will share their experiences and thoughts about mental health treatment openly, without fear of judgment from their superiors or union representatives. This study is currently recruiting and invites all eligible officers to help identify ways to improve mental health care for those in law enforcement.
