ClinConnect Summary
The Tunisian Registry of Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) is a clinical trial that aims to gather important information about the outcomes of TAVI procedures in patients from Tunisia. TAVI is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat severe aortic stenosis, a condition where the heart's aortic valve becomes narrowed, making it difficult for the heart to pump blood. This registry will collect data on patients who have already undergone TAVI in Tunisia from 2013 to 2024, helping doctors understand how this treatment works for Tunisian patients and ultimately improving care.
To participate in this study, you must be a Tunisian patient who has received a TAVI procedure in Tunisia. If you decide to join, you will help researchers learn more about the characteristics of patients and the outcomes of their treatments. It’s important to note that only those who agree to participate and provide consent can enroll in the study. This registry is a step towards better understanding the effectiveness of TAVI in Tunisia, which can lead to improved patient care and treatment practices.
