ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a special gel containing bromelain and chlorhexidine in treating gum disease, specifically for patients with Stage II/III and Grade B periodontitis. The trial aims to see if applying this gel directly into the gum pockets after a cleaning procedure called scaling and root planing can improve the health of the gums.
To participate in this study, you should be between 30 to 50 years old, have at least 20 teeth, and show signs of bone loss in at least two teeth. It's also important that you are generally healthy and have gum pockets that are 5mm deep or less. If you join, you will need to visit the hospital regularly for follow-up appointments. Please note that if you’ve had any gum treatments in the last six months or are pregnant, you won’t be eligible to participate.
