ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the rehabilitation needs of patients with blood cancers who are getting ready for two specific treatments: Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) and CAR T-cell therapy. While these treatments can be very effective in fighting cancer, they often lead to side effects like muscle weakness and fatigue, which can make it hard for patients to enjoy a good quality of life. The study aims to assess how well patients can move and function physically, as well as how these treatments affect their overall well-being.
To participate in this trial, patients must be at least 18 years old and have a hematologic cancer (a type of blood cancer) that requires HSCT or CAR T-cell therapy. They should be able to understand and communicate in Italian and give their consent to take part in the study. During the trial, participants can expect to undergo physical tests to evaluate their abilities, and they will also share information about the challenges they face during treatment. The goal is to better understand their rehabilitation needs and ultimately improve their quality of life during this difficult time.
