ClinConnect Summary
The clinical trial titled "PAthwAy of Dyspneic patients in Emergency in France" is studying patients who experience sudden shortness of breath, known as acute dyspnea, and are treated by emergency medical teams. The main goal of this study is to understand what factors might increase the risk of death or the need to return to the hospital for these patients. Researchers will look at different groups of people, such as men and women, various age groups, and those with other health conditions, to see how these factors affect patient outcomes.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be adults aged 18 or older who have been treated for acute dyspnea by emergency teams from 2010 to 2021. However, individuals who had a heart or breathing emergency before arriving at the hospital will not be included. If you participate, your health data will be reviewed to help researchers learn more about how to improve care for patients with this condition in the future. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so further details will be provided once it begins.
