To participate in this study, individuals must be 18 years or older and currently being monitored in an intensive care unit with suspected meningitis after having a neurosurgical procedure and having a CSF drainage catheter. Patients can expect to have their levels of CGRP and Substance P measured to see if these markers can help improve the diagnosis and treatment of meningitis. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to discover important insights that could lead to better care for patients with this serious condition.

• • Patients followed up in the intensive care unit with suspected meningitis
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • Patients under 18 years of age
• • Patients with suspected meningitis in the intensive care unit who have not undergone neurosurgical operation and do not have CSF drainage catheter
