ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at eye injuries caused by fireworks during festivals in Upper Egypt. The study aims to understand how often these injuries happen, the types and severity of the injuries, and the outcomes for people affected. Researchers want to gather important information about how fireworks can harm people's eyes and what complications may arise from these injuries.

If you or someone you know has suffered a fireworks-related eye injury during a festival in 2024 and is seeking help at an eye emergency unit, you may be eligible to participate in this study. The trial is open to all ages and genders, but it only includes patients with injuries caused specifically by fireworks—those with other types of eye injuries will not be part of this research. Participants can expect to provide information about their injuries and outcomes, which will help improve understanding and prevention of such injuries in the future.
