ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can help identify differences in facial expressions between three groups of people: those who are healthy, those experiencing early signs of cognitive decline, and those with dementia. The goal is to develop a new way to screen for dementia, which could help in preventing its onset and promoting healthier aging among older adults. By doing this, the study aims to lessen the burden on caregivers and reduce healthcare costs.

If you are between the ages of 50 and 75 and are interested in participating, you may be eligible if you meet certain criteria. For example, you would need to have a specific score on a mental test that indicates your cognitive health. Participants will be asked to follow instructions and take part in activities that involve their facial expressions. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it offers a chance to contribute to important research that could make a difference in how we understand and manage cognitive health in older adults.
