ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a tool called the Michigan Neuropathy Screening Instrument (MNSI) to see how well it can identify diabetic neuropathy in people who have recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Diabetic neuropathy is a condition that affects the nerves and can cause pain, tingling, or numbness, especially in the feet. The researchers want to compare the MNSI with other tests to determine which is the best at finding this condition early, which can help with better management and treatment.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between 30 and 55 years old and have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes within the last year. However, individuals with certain health issues that can also cause nerve problems, such as vitamin deficiencies or autoimmune diseases, will not be included in the study. If you choose to participate, you can expect to undergo several tests, including questionnaires and physical examinations to check your nerve health. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity to contribute to understanding and improving care for people with diabetes.
