ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach called Process-based Therapy to see how well it works for people with difficult-to-treat anxiety disorders and depression. Researchers want to compare this therapy with traditional cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that is commonly used in everyday practice. The goal is to find out which method is more effective for helping patients who have not had success with other treatments.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with depression or an anxiety disorder. It’s important that you have already tried at least two different treatments without success. You don't have to stop taking your current medications during the trial, but they need to stay the same throughout the study. If you have certain other mental health conditions, such as severe depression or substance abuse issues, you may not be eligible. If you decide to join, you can expect to receive either Process-based Therapy or the traditional CBT during the study period.
