ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the long-term dental effects that chemotherapy can have on children who were diagnosed with cancer before the age of 10. Researchers want to understand how likely these childhood cancer survivors are to develop dental problems, such as cavities and other tooth defects, compared to children who did not have cancer. The goal is to find better ways to predict and prevent these dental issues, helping survivors maintain healthier teeth as they grow up.
To participate in this study, individuals must have been diagnosed with cancer before turning 10 and have received chemotherapy as part of their treatment. They should now be at least 12 years old. Participants will undergo dental examinations to assess their oral health and development. This study is currently recruiting participants and aims to provide important insights that could improve dental care for childhood cancer survivors in the future.
