ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how to prevent ankle sprains in young basketball players. Researchers believe that ankle sprains are not just simple injuries, but are connected to various factors that affect how the ankle works. By studying these connections, the trial aims to find better ways to help basketball players avoid injuries while playing.
To participate in this study, players must be between 10 and 18 years old and regularly play basketball in clubs in Salamanca. Unfortunately, players who have had previous injuries, fractures, or who use any special equipment to support their ankles cannot join. If eligible, participants can expect to take part in activities and assessments that will help researchers understand how to keep basketball players safe from ankle injuries. This trial is not yet recruiting, but it’s an important step toward better injury prevention in sports.
