ClinConnect Summary
The Mobile Apps for Preschool Parents (MAPP) Study is designed to see how well two different mobile apps can help parents of preschool-aged children (ages 2 to 5) promote healthy habits. One app focuses on nutrition and overall wellness for families, while the other encourages parents to read to their children. This study aims to support families in creating healthier lifestyles for their little ones, which is especially important in addressing childhood obesity and promoting good nutrition and physical activity.
To participate in this study, you need to be a parent or guardian of a child between 2 and 5 years old and live in the United States. You should also be receiving services from a partner community organization. It's important to note that you must own a smartphone or tablet (either an Apple or Android device) and have internet access to take part. If you join the study, you'll get to use one of the mobile apps and help researchers understand how effective these tools are at encouraging healthy behaviors in families. This is a great opportunity to learn more about supporting your child's health while contributing to valuable research!
