ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether using augmented reality (AR) can help patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) stick to their continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy better than standard care. CPAP therapy is a common treatment that helps keep the airway open during sleep. The researchers want to find out if AR can make it easier for patients to use their CPAP machines and understand any challenges they face while using this technology.
To participate, you must be at least 20 years old and have been diagnosed with moderate to severe OSA. The trial lasts for six months, during which you will either use AR-guided CPAP therapy or standard CPAP therapy every day. You’ll have checkup visits at the start, one month in, three months in, and at the end of the six months to monitor your progress and symptoms. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to gather valuable information that could improve OSA treatment in the future.
