ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how two medications, a statin and an SGLT2 inhibitor (SGLT2i), work together to help treat patients with ischemic heart disease, a condition that affects blood flow to the heart. Researchers want to see how these drugs affect certain blood tests, including cholesterol levels, and how well they can be combined to improve heart health in patients who have been diagnosed with ischemic heart failure.
To participate in this study, you need to be an adult diagnosed with ischemic heart disease by a healthcare provider. You cannot have certain health issues like liver or kidney problems, fungal infections, or blood clotting disorders, and you should not be taking any medications that could interfere with the SGLT2i. If you decide to join, you'll be monitored during the trial, and your health will be closely checked to see how well the combination therapy works for you. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and all genders are welcome to apply.
