ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help women who are going through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). IVF is a process that helps women become pregnant when they have difficulty conceiving naturally. The researchers want to find out if CBT can reduce feelings of anxiety and depression and improve coping skills. They also aim to see if CBT can positively affect certain hormone levels in the body, which can be important for overall health and fertility.
To participate in this study, women must be aged 25 to 42 and dealing with primary infertility. They should be able to read and understand Bahasa Indonesia and be willing to sign consent to take part in the trial. Women with serious mental health issues, like psychotic disorders, are not eligible to join. Participants will be divided into two groups: one will receive CBT, while the other group will not receive any therapy. Throughout the study, participants can expect support and guidance as they explore the potential benefits of CBT during their IVF journey.
