ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a procedure called transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE) to help people with chronic pain in the elbow or foot caused by conditions like lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) or plantar fasciitis. The trial is looking for patients who have been experiencing moderate to severe pain for more than six months and have tried other treatments like physical therapy or pain medications without relief. Participants will be monitored for changes in their pain levels at 6 and 12 months after the procedure.

To be eligible for the trial, patients need to have confirmed signs of increased blood flow (hypervascularization) in the painful area through imaging tests like ultrasound or MRI. Patients should also be at least 18 years old and not pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with local infections or bleeding disorders are not eligible. If you decide to join the trial, you'll be part of an important study aiming to find better treatments for ongoing pain in the elbow or foot.
