ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well a technique called dermoscopy, which allows doctors to examine skin lesions closely, can help diagnose non-melanoma skin tumors before surgery. Researchers want to see if the findings from this examination match what they find after the tumors are removed and examined under a microscope, known as histopathology. By understanding this relationship better, they hope to improve the accuracy of diagnosing these skin tumors.
Anyone with non-melanoma skin tumors, regardless of age or gender, may be eligible to participate if they have had positive results from dermoscopic exams and confirmed diagnoses from histopathology. Participants in this trial can expect to undergo both the dermoscopic examination and the standard procedures for their skin tumors. It's important to note that the trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available when it begins.
