ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special online program called the Awareness, Courage, and Love intervention, which aims to help older adults feel less lonely and anxious, and improve their overall happiness and social connections. The program is designed for Chinese adults aged 60 years or older who can speak Cantonese and have access to the internet. Participants will take part in a single online session that may benefit their mental well-being.
To join the study, individuals must be living in the community and able to communicate in Cantonese. However, those with severe emotional distress or certain health conditions, like significant cognitive impairment or severe mental illnesses, won’t be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it promises an opportunity for older adults to learn skills that may help them cope better in the post-pandemic world.
