ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new device called The Lung Master, which is designed to help people breathe better, especially those with breathing difficulties like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma. The device aims to increase the amount of air that the lungs can hold, which is important for overall lung health. It’s important to note that The Lung Master is still being tested and has not yet been approved by the FDA.
To participate in this study, you need to be between the ages of 19 to 35 or over 65, and you should be able to use the device daily at home. The trial involves two visits about a month apart. During the first visit, you'll have a simple lung test to measure how much air your lungs can hold. After taking the device home for a month, you'll return for another test to see if there have been any changes. Each visit will take about one to two hours. If you have any severe respiratory conditions, you may not be eligible to participate. This study offers a chance to potentially improve lung function while contributing to important research.
