ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how telehealth self-management coaching sessions can help improve the quality of life for people who have metastatic pancreatic cancer and their family caregivers. Pancreatic cancer can cause many symptoms, and both patients and their families often need more support during treatment. The goal of the study is to see if these coaching sessions, which focus on managing physical symptoms, emotional health, and social and spiritual well-being, can make a positive difference for patients and their caregivers.
To participate in this trial, patients must be adults aged 18 or older with a confirmed diagnosis of metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma within the last 8 weeks. Family caregivers who are also 18 or older and involved in the patient’s care can join as well. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires in English or Spanish, and they will receive coaching sessions through telehealth, which means they can join from home using a computer or phone. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so it's a great opportunity for those looking for additional support during their treatment journey.
