ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special exercise program designed to help surgeons who perform vaginal surgeries. The goal is to see if strengthening exercises can reduce the physical strain and pain that these surgeons might experience while working. Since vaginal surgery can be physically demanding, this study aims to find a way to make it easier and safer for the surgeons involved.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a resident or fellow in obstetrics and gynecology or urology who performs vaginal prolapse surgeries lasting more than two hours. However, if you are currently receiving physical therapy, have had recent joint surgery or injury, are pregnant, or have given birth less than six weeks ago, you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to follow the exercise program and provide feedback on how it affects your work-related pain and injuries. This research could help improve the health and well-being of surgeons in the future.
