ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the Mental Health Virtual Ward (MH vWard), a new approach to help people experiencing a mental health crisis. The goal is to see if spending about 5 days in this virtual care setting leads to better outcomes for patients, such as improved mental health and reduced need for emergency services. Participants will receive support from mental health professionals, engage in individual therapy, take part in group activities, and have access to both community and family resources. Additionally, they will have their medications reviewed and can use a special app to monitor their health at home.
To join the trial, individuals must be admitted to the MH vWard for treatment. There are no specific exclusions, so if you or a loved one is experiencing a mental health crisis and is eligible for this program, you may have the opportunity to participate. This trial aims to gather important information for future research, helping to improve care for people facing similar challenges in mental health.
