ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the placement of dental implants in the front part of the lower jaw, known as the anterior mandibular region. The goal is to better understand the bone structure in this area, which is important for safely placing implants right after tooth removal. Researchers want to gather information about the thickness of the bone and the shape of the tooth sockets to help ensure that the implants are positioned correctly and to reduce the risk of complications.
To participate in the study, individuals should be between the ages of 65 and 75 and need to have specific dental scans that show their lower front teeth, including the central and lateral incisors, as well as canines. However, those with crooked teeth or who have had braces, and those with significant bone loss in the area, will not be eligible. Participants can expect to contribute to important research that could improve dental implant procedures in the future. The trial is not yet recruiting, so there will be more information available later for those who are interested.
