ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the outcomes of pregnancies in women who are 45 years old or older, a group often referred to as having advanced maternal age (AMA). The researchers aim to understand the potential complications and challenges these women may face during their pregnancies and deliveries. This is especially important as more women are choosing to have children later in life for various reasons, including career opportunities and access to reproductive technology.
To participate in this study, women must be 45 years or older at the time of delivery and must be at least 24 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately, women who are using surrogates or have missing information related to the study will not be eligible. Those who join will help researchers gain valuable insights into the unique experiences and health outcomes of older pregnant women, which could lead to better care and support for this growing group of mothers.
