ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how exposure to heavy metals, tiny particles, and new environmental contaminants might affect people with allergic conditions, like allergic contact dermatitis and metal allergies. The researchers want to find out if the levels of these harmful substances in the body are different in people who have these allergies compared to healthy individuals. To do this, they will measure the amount of metals and particles in blood and urine, conduct skin tests for allergies, and test how well participants' lungs are functioning.
To participate, you need to be an adult over 18 years old and either have allergic contact dermatitis caused by metals or a systemic allergic syndrome related to metals. Healthy adults can also join. However, pregnant or breastfeeding women, those under 18, and individuals with certain health issues or other severe skin or gastrointestinal diseases cannot participate. If you join the study, you will undergo several tests that will help researchers learn more about how these environmental exposures are linked to allergic diseases.
