ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how to help people who have had a stroke better understand their driving abilities. After a stroke, some patients may not realize how their condition affects their ability to drive safely, which can make it hard for them to make informed decisions about getting back behind the wheel. The study will compare two groups: one group will receive standard advice about driving, while the other group will get additional support through video feedback that helps them see their driving skills and challenges more clearly.

To participate in the study, you need to be between 65 and 74 years old, have had a stroke within the last 1 to 6 months, and have held a driving license for more than three years but have not resumed driving yet. You should also be stable health-wise and understand French well enough to give consent. If you join, you can expect to receive guidance from a team of professionals who will help assess your driving abilities and support you in making decisions about driving after your stroke. This trial aims to improve awareness and safety for stroke survivors when it comes to driving.
