ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to better diagnose hirsutism, which is excessive hair growth in women, particularly among those with conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and irregular menstrual cycles. The researchers want to find a specific measurement scale that can accurately identify hirsutism in Polish women and see how it relates to hair loss patterns on another scale. This information could help doctors make more accurate diagnoses and better understand these conditions.
Women aged 18 to 45 who experience irregular menstrual cycles, meaning their periods happen either less than every three weeks or more than every five weeks, may be eligible to participate in this study. There are no specific exclusions, so if you fit the age and condition criteria, you could join. Participants can expect to undergo assessments that will help researchers gather important data on hair growth and hair loss, contributing to improved understanding and treatment of these symptoms.
