ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment approach for people with frozen shoulder, a condition that causes stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint, making it hard to move the arm. Researchers want to see if a special technique called 3-Dimensional Shoulder Pain Alignment (3-D SPA) mobilization, combined with regular therapy, can help improve shoulder movement and reduce pain more effectively than standard shoulder mobilization alone. A total of 36 participants will be involved in the study, which is currently looking for volunteers.
To be eligible for the trial, participants should have noticeable shoulder pain and significant limitations in shoulder movement, especially in turning the arm outward. They should also not have certain conditions, like nerve issues or recent shoulder injections. Those who join the study can expect to receive either the new mobilization technique or standard therapy over the course of the trial. It’s a chance to potentially improve their shoulder function and quality of life while contributing to important research.
