ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new digital application designed to help teenagers aged 13 to 16 who are struggling with mild to moderate anxiety. The aim is to see if this therapy, guided by a professional, can help reduce anxiety symptoms and improve daily functioning. Participants will use the application based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for eight weeks. Researchers will compare the results of those using the new app to those receiving standard treatment to find out which method is more effective.
To participate, teenagers must live in Bergen, have completed a specific anxiety questionnaire, and report experiencing anxiety symptoms that interfere with their daily lives. However, those currently receiving other psychological treatments or who have more severe mental health issues will not be eligible. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it's an important step toward finding effective tools to support adolescents with anxiety.
