ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the complications that can happen after a liver surgery called hepatectomy, which is often used to treat conditions like liver cancer and other liver issues. While this surgery can be very effective, it can also lead to problems afterward, such as liver failure, infections, or bile leaks. The goal of this study is to gather more information about how often these complications occur, what might increase the risk of them happening, and how they can be prevented or treated. This information will help doctors provide better care for patients undergoing this surgery.
To be eligible for the study, participants should be between 18 and 80 years old and have had liver surgery at one of the centers involved in the trial. However, individuals who have had certain previous cancer treatments, repeated liver surgeries, or other serious health issues may not be included. Those who take part in the study can expect to share their medical information, which will help researchers gain a clearer understanding of the risks and outcomes related to liver surgery. Overall, this study aims to improve patient safety and treatment plans for future liver surgery patients.
