ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective a special treatment called a bioactive glass desensitizer is in reducing tooth sensitivity that can happen after professional tooth whitening. The researchers want to see if this desensitizer works better, the same, or worse compared to a fluoride gel and a gel without any desensitizing ingredients. They will measure how often sensitivity occurs, how intense it feels, and how long it lasts after the teeth are bleached. They will also check if these treatments affect the color of the teeth after whitening.
To join this study, participants should be between 18 and 30 years old, have at least eight front teeth that are discolored but healthy, and should not have experienced tooth sensitivity before. It's also important that they haven't used any tooth sensitivity treatments in the last six months. Participants can expect to receive one of the different gels during their whitening procedure and will be monitored for any changes in tooth sensitivity and color. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and it’s a great opportunity to help researchers understand how to make tooth whitening more comfortable for everyone.
