ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Child Development and Genetic Biomarkers(II): Gene Verification and Data Integration," is focused on understanding how certain genes may affect child development and developmental delays in Taiwan. The researchers want to find out which genes are linked to these issues in children and compare their findings with children from other countries. They are also using a personalized approach, known as precision medicine, to help with genetic testing. Additionally, the study will track how children adjust socially, emotionally, and biologically, particularly those who show signs of developmental delays early on.
If you are interested in participating, you should be between the ages of 0 and 40 and either developing typically or experiencing developmental disabilities. However, individuals with certain health conditions, such as severe nervous system disorders or sensory impairments, are not eligible. Participants will be asked to provide consent and will undergo genetic screenings, with the goal of contributing to a better understanding of child development in a supportive research environment.
