ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special program designed to help people prepare for retirement, which can be a big life change. The program aims to improve how individuals feel about retiring, boost their overall happiness, and help them adapt to new routines and roles. It will take place at the University of Salamanca in Spain and will involve people aged 60 or older who are either already retired or will retire in the next five years.
Participants in the trial will be divided into two groups. One group will take part in a detailed program of 12 sessions over three months, while the other group will simply be followed without any special intervention. Everyone will be assessed before and after the program to see how it affects their quality of life, mental well-being, and feelings about aging. To join the study, individuals must be at least 60 years old, nearing retirement, and able to understand the program without difficulties. This trial is a chance for older adults to gain skills and knowledge to help make their transition to retirement smoother and more enjoyable.
