ClinConnect Summary
The VCOM Pain Free Research trial is looking to understand chronic pain better, which is a condition that affects about 30% of people around the world. Chronic pain can come from various causes, such as nerve problems, long-term tissue damage, or conditions like fibromyalgia. The goal of this study is to gather information that will help in creating a new clinic focused on treating chronic pain in a comprehensive way, considering both physical and emotional factors.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be individuals aged between 76 and 291 years who are experiencing ongoing pain that isn’t linked to a recent injury. However, people who are looking for medications to treat their pain or have pain that is a normal response to an injury won’t be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to share your experiences and contribute to research that aims to improve how chronic pain is understood and managed in the future.
