ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is comparing two methods of managing pain after a surgery called modified radical mastectomy, which is a type of breast surgery. The study will look at the effectiveness of an ultrasound-guided technique called the Erector Spinae Plane Block, compared to a method known as local wound infiltration. Both approaches aim to help with pain relief after surgery, and the researchers want to see which one works better for patients.

To participate in the trial, you need to be a female patient aged between 18 and 75 who is scheduled for this specific surgery and is generally healthy. However, certain conditions might prevent you from joining, such as having a severe health problem, a history of allergies to pain medications, or if you're currently using specific types of pain relief medications. If you decide to participate, you can expect a thorough evaluation and monitoring during your recovery, helping to ensure that your pain is managed as effectively as possible.
