ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating the long-term effects on children who were born to mothers who participated in earlier studies related to poor growth during pregnancy, known as intrauterine growth restriction. This condition can affect a child’s growth and development, potentially leading to health issues later in life, such as heart problems, weight issues, and difficulties with learning and attention. The researchers want to see how these children have developed physically and mentally as they grow older.
To be part of this follow-up study, mothers who participated in the earlier studies must have children who are at least 5 years old. Participants will need to fill out questionnaires about their children’s development and agree to a physical examination to assess their health. Importantly, the study is currently looking for participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to understanding the long-term outcomes for these children.
