ClinConnect Summary
The "Strong Mother Strong Special Individual" trial is looking at how artistic activities can help mothers who care for children with special needs, such as autism, learning disabilities, or other mental and physical challenges. Many of these mothers experience feelings of anxiety, hopelessness, and depression, which can make it tough for them to care for their children. This study aims to reduce their stress and improve their well-being by providing a space for them to express their emotions through art.
To participate, mothers must have children diagnosed with moderate to severe mental disabilities and live in the Kastamonu Central district. The study will involve 30 mothers who are willing to take part. If selected, these mothers can expect to engage in creative activities that focus on expressing their feelings and connecting with others in similar situations. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a great opportunity for mothers to find support and relief in a caring environment.
