ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a new type of therapy called Lifespan Integration (LI) for people with complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Complex PTSD can happen after experiencing long-term trauma, such as abuse or neglect. The trial is looking for French-speaking adults aged 65 to 74 who have been diagnosed with complex PTSD and are trying LI therapy for the first time. Participants can still be on medication for their mental health, but they should not be receiving any other types of therapy at the same time.
If you decide to take part in this study, you will be evaluated to see if LI therapy helps improve your symptoms of complex PTSD. It's important to note that those with active severe mental health issues, such as manic or psychotic episodes, or certain diagnoses like autism or intellectual disabilities, won't be eligible for this trial. The study is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could contribute to understanding how LI therapy works for people dealing with complex trauma.
