This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special technique called Oketani breast massage on how well new mothers are able to breastfeed. The researchers want to find out if this massage can help mothers feel more confident and satisfied with their breastfeeding experience. They are currently looking for first-time mothers who are healthy and in their 36th week of pregnancy to join the study.
To be eligible, participants need to be over 18 years old, able to read and write in Turkish, and have taken breastfeeding training. If you decide to participate, you will learn about the massage technique and its potential benefits for breastfeeding. This study aims to provide valuable insights that could help new mothers have a more successful and enjoyable breastfeeding experience.

Eligibility criteria
- Inclusion Criteria:
- • To volunteer to participate in the study,
- • To be over 18 years of age,
- • To be able to read and write,
- • To be able to read and understand Turkish,
- • To have no hearing, speech or visual impairments,
- • To have received breastfeeding training at a pregnancy school,
- • To be healthy in the 36th week of primiparous pregnancy.
- Exclusion Criteria:
- • Obstacles to communication include having a visual, hearing or perception disorder,
- • Not being able to read or write,
- • Having a psychiatric illness,
- • Being multiparous and having a vaginal birth,
- • Having a risky pregnancy.
