ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a special program designed to help people with drug-resistant epilepsy, which means their seizures don’t respond well to medication. The goal is to create and test a new set of strategies that focus on improving both thinking skills and emotional well-being. Researchers want to see if these strategies can make a difference in the lives of those living with epilepsy, especially since there's not much evidence about what works best in India. By developing a comprehensive approach that includes various assessment tools and interventions, the team hopes to better understand how to support patients, not just with medication, but also with tailored programs that address their specific needs.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be between 18 and 45 years old and should be willing to give their consent to take part. However, individuals with other neurological disorders, major psychiatric issues, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot participate. Those interested in joining can expect to engage in activities aimed at enhancing their cognitive and social skills, contributing to a better quality of life. This study is currently in the recruitment phase, and the results could help shape future support for people with epilepsy.
