ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how balance (proprioception) and muscle strength affect people's fear of getting hurt again after having surgery to repair their anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Many individuals who have had ACL reconstruction surgery worry about re-injury, which can make it harder for them to return to sports and physical activities. By studying these factors, researchers hope to find ways to help patients feel more confident and safe as they get back to their routines.
To participate, you need to be between 18 and 35 years old and have had ACL reconstruction surgery at least six months ago. However, individuals who have had previous lower leg surgeries or injuries in the last six months, or those with specific balance problems, cannot join. If you qualify and choose to participate, you'll be involved in activities aimed at measuring your balance and strength, and the study will help researchers understand how these aspects can reduce fear of re-injury.
