ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how stretching the hamstring muscles can affect the muscles in the lower back for office workers. Many people who sit at a desk for long periods develop tight hamstrings, which can lead to problems like low back pain. The researchers believe that by doing specific stretching exercises, they can help improve muscle activation and stability in the lower back, reducing discomfort and the risk of pain.
To participate in this study, individuals should be between 20 and 50 years old, work in an office setting, and sit at a desk for at least 5 hours each day. They should also be considered physically inactive. However, those with certain health issues, recent surgeries, or injuries will not be eligible. Participants will engage in active stretching exercises and will help researchers understand how these exercises can benefit the lumbar region, which is the lower part of the back.
