ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether a special device from Otolith Labs can help improve balance and reduce symptoms for people who experience vestibular migraines, which are migraines that can cause dizziness and balance problems. The researchers want to find out if using the device makes a difference in how well the vestibular system (which helps control balance) works, both in objective tests and in how patients feel subjectively. Participants will take part in tests while wearing the device in a rotary chair, and they will also answer questions about their symptoms and experiences with motion sickness.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to have a diagnosis of vestibular migraine and live in the United States. They cannot have had certain medical conditions or surgeries, such as serious head injuries or ear surgeries, in the recent past. The testing will take less than an hour, and participants will be asked about their feelings during the tests. If you or someone you know fits the criteria, this could be a valuable opportunity to contribute to research that might improve treatments for vestibular migraine.
