ClinConnect Summary
The Inspire Singapore Study is a research trial aimed at evaluating how well the Inspire system works for patients with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in Singapore. OSA is a condition that causes breathing problems during sleep, and the Inspire device is designed to help improve breathing for those who have not had success with traditional treatments like CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure). The study is currently looking for participants who are between 18 and 70 years old and have been diagnosed with moderate to severe OSA, specifically those who have struggled with or cannot tolerate CPAP therapy.
If you join this study, you will be part of a group that is exploring a new treatment option for sleep apnea. Participants will receive the Inspire device and will be monitored to see how it performs. It’s important to note that some individuals may not qualify for the study, especially if they have certain types of breathing issues during sleep or specific problems with the control of their airway. This trial could be a valuable opportunity for those seeking alternative solutions to manage their sleep apnea effectively.
