ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation (TEAS) to see how it affects pain and recovery after surgery for pancreatic cancer. The goal is to find out if this method can help patients feel less pain after a surgery called pancreatectomy, which involves removing part of the pancreas.
To participate in this trial, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 80 and scheduled for a pancreatectomy. However, certain people won’t be eligible, such as those with a history of epilepsy or certain heart devices, and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you join the study, you can expect to receive TEAS during your recovery, and the researchers will monitor your pain levels and overall recovery. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be more information available when it starts.
