ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is comparing two types of dental implants: UV activated implants and conventional implants. The goal is to see how stable these implants are and how well the surrounding soft and hard tissues heal after the implants are placed. If you are interested in participating, you should be between the ages of 18 and 74 and need to replace at least two missing teeth in the back part of your lower jaw. It's also important that you have enough bone to support the dental implants and are willing to follow oral care instructions and attend follow-up visits.
Participants in this trial can expect to receive either type of implant and will be monitored for how well they heal. However, there are some reasons you might not be eligible, such as having certain health conditions like uncontrolled diabetes or severe heart disease, or if you smoke. If you've been treated with specific medications for bone health or have trouble maintaining good oral hygiene, you may also be excluded. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you meet the criteria and are interested in learning more, it could be a good opportunity to help advance dental care.
