ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective different ways of teaching about oral health are for secondary school students in Malaysia. The researchers want to compare traditional teaching methods, mobile health tools, and a virtual reality platform called the Metaverse to see which one helps students learn the most about taking care of their teeth and gums. The goal is to improve students' knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to oral health.
To participate in this study, students need to be 15 or 16 years old in 2024 and must be enrolled in a co-educational school, which means schools that have both boys and girls. They also need to be able to understand both Malay and English and have access to computers at their school. Participants will engage in a program that includes various educational activities, and they must agree to take part with permission from their legal guardians. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about oral health while using modern technology!
