ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how using a special camera, called a thermal imaging camera, can help doctors understand changes in temperature in the legs before and after a procedure to improve blood flow, known as revascularization. The main goal is to see if measuring temperature in the legs can predict how successful these procedures are for patients with serious conditions that affect blood flow, like Peripheral Arterial Disease and Critical Limb Ischemia.
To participate in this trial, you would need to be between the ages of 65 and 159 and have a specific type of leg artery disease that has caused some tissue damage. This study is looking for patients who are scheduled to undergo a procedure to improve blood flow in their legs. However, if you have non-arterial ulcers or are pregnant, you would not be eligible to join. Participants can expect to have their leg temperatures measured before and after the procedure, which could help researchers learn more about how to improve outcomes for patients in the future.
